The vice of greed, set in the Venice of Ben Jonson and reimagined by Stefan Zweig, emerges as a sharp reflection of the human spirit that transcends time. It remains profoundly relevant, as in our societies the “Moscas” not only obey their masters, but surpass them, boldly assuming even the very masks of beasts. A text at once vivid and provocative, challenging sensitivity, awakening conscience, and inviting reflection on the power of artistic expression.
Impressive court scene. It was too beautifully chosen as well aesthetic. “The trap of the Volpone” unfolds greediness of human being. Director , one of the well-established directors of our theater, respects the English comedian in the content, with his style, symbolism, and density, bringing these into our social reality with an attractive new contemporary form with the style of fun and dancing of masks.Reading under the masquerade comic formulations, the spectacle of Adonis Filipi, comes on stage with adaptive and vibrant characters, that plays beautifully the comical essence of this social drama; the man’s mask -Volpone…although the foxes continue to live again in the “their forest”. Impressive the scene of court .It was too beautifully chosen as well aesthetical.
