ELECTRA

SOPHOCLES

Translated and script by  Wang Ling
Directed by  Adonis Filipi

Sophocles’ Electra is a powerful tragedy of grief, memory, and the relentless search for justice. At its center stands Electra, a woman consumed by the murder of her father, Agamemnon, and trapped between mourning, rage, and the hope of vengeance. Through intense family conflict and moral tension, the drama explores betrayal, loyalty, and the devastating cost of justice pursued through violence. In Adonis Filipi’s staging, Electra emerges as a timeless confrontation with pain, truth, and the dark inheritance of blood and fate.
